Still Life Flowers and Birds. Suisse-French School. Signed Gallot, 1806. 

The drawing depicts a sumptuous bouquet of flowers, arranged in a classical style vase, with two sparrows sitting below. 

Samuel-Ferdinand Gallot-Perrelet (1774-1854): Suisse artist, doctor, musician, printmaker. Mentioned by Rigaud as one of the precursors of the lithography at Geneva. In 1823, he invented a lithographic process.
